The 2016 “Hired Guns” series at Gunshow packs heat with a powerfully hot guest chef roster. Bryan Voltaggio and Vishwesh Bhatt have already stirred the pot, and June opens the kitchen to chef Kenny Gilbert of Gilbert’s Underground Kitchen in Fernandina Beach, Florida, on Sunday, June 12 and Monday, June 13. “Top Chef” fans are already keen on Gilbert, who became one of the most likeable contestants in the show’s history during season seven. Chef Kevin Gillespie is loading the Gunshow kitchen chamber for June’s “Hired Guns” dinner on Sunday, June 12 and Monday, June 13. Chef Kenny Gilbert of Gilbert's Underground Kitchen in Fernandina Beach, Florida, blasts into the Glenwood Park restaurant to join Gillespie, Gunshow executive chef Joey Ward and the “kitchen dudes” (and dudettes). As Gilbert mingles with diners and shares his innovative take on tropical and traditional cuisine, guests will easily see why this seventh season “Top Chef” contestant claims fame as one of the show’s most likeable chefs. His career has taken him from Florida and Sea Island, Georgia, to Colorado, New Jersey, Spain, France and the Caribbean. Gunshow “Hired Guns” Takes Aim at the 2016 Calendar, Tags Bryan Voltaggio for January 31 and February 1


Offset winter chills with some of the hottest seats in town, those for the first “Hired Guns” dinner in the 2016 series at Gunshow, Kevin Gillespie’s Glenwood Park restaurant. Acclaimed guest chef Bryan Voltaggio flies south from Washington, D.C. to take on the season-opener role on Sunday, January 31 and Monday, February 1.  Voltaggio’s family of restaurants, which includes VOLT, Lunchbox, Family Meal, RANGE and AGGIO, spreads his passion for local ingredients and hospitality across the Mid-Atlantic region from D.C. and Baltimore and Frederick, Maryland to Ashburn and Richmond, Virginia. Tickets, $95 per person (plus drinks, tax and gratuity), are available via Xorbia beginning December 31. Space is limited for these intimate dinners, and seats are sure to go quickly, so make reservations ASAP. For those who want to attend all six dinners in the series,season tickets are available for $75 per person per dinner through December 31 and for $85 per person per dinner starting January 1, 2016. Top Chef Talent Unites at Ray's at Killer Creek on March 27

Want to get a taste of what you watched on season seven of Bravo's "Top Chef" television series? Now is your chance! On March 27, Ray's at Killer Creek is bringing in four of Executive Chef Tracey Bloom's fellow chef-testants - Arnold Myint, Tiffany Derry, Kenny Gilbert and Andrea Curto-Randazzo - to cook up a meal together for guests. The six-course meal paired with wines begins at 6 p.m. and costs $150 per person (including tax and gratuity). A portion of the proceeds benefits AFLAC Cancer Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
