For dinner, Marlow's Tavern, Bantam + Biddy, Ted's Montana Grill and Whole Foods Market will be offering tasty cuisine. Tickets start at $125 per person.

Discerning Tastes Wine and Dine for Multiple Sclerosis Harvest for a Cure on October 23


Harvest for a Cure teams up the city's top chefs and wine collectors in a wine event benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Georgia Chapter on Thursday, October 23 from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Westside Cultural Arts Center. Gerry Klaskala of Aria, Randy Lewis of Gypsy Kitchen, Stephen Sharp of Ink & Elm, Derek Dollar of Milton's Cuisine & Cocktails and Todd Richards of The Pig and The Pearl are just a few of the exceptional chefs who will collaborate with wine collectors to perfectly pair dishes with prized wines from personal wine cellars. Buy tickets online, $250 each. Donations welcomed.

On Saturday, October 4, the streets of downtown Crabapple will be taken over with antiques, art, music, fun and food for this year’s Crabapple Fest. From 11 a.m.-3 p.m., mosey on down to Crabapple Road where Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails will be serving up a refreshing Georgia peach basil mojito or cherry limeade. All that festival fun sure does work up an appetite, but chef Derek Dollar has you covered with a special festival lunch menu from 11 a.m.-3p.m. Men, you don’t think we’d let you suffer through all that antiquing and art appreciation, did you? We’ve got a seat for you at the full bar accompanied by live music from noon-4 p.m. 

Tin Lizzy's Knows How to Fold 'Em for Bert's Big Adventure on National Taco Day, October 4


A taco on this day sends a tike to play. On Saturday, October 4, all seven locations of Tin Lizzy’s are celebrating National Taco Day by donating a dollar for each taco sold to Bert's Big Adventure. This nonprofit organization’s goal is to send children with chronic or terminal illnesses and their entire families to Disney World for some much-needed family fun. With more than two dozen tasty tacos such as the Southern Comfort, Korean BBQ and the Philly gracing the menu, you’ll be faced with the tough decision of which ones to nosh on.
