Hurray for Rosé Day at No. 246!

We all know white wines are great to drink in the summer, but how about a little love for rosé? Lucky for us, No. 246 in Decatur has declared Wednesday, August 22 Rosé Day so we can all celebrate this refreshingly crisp, chilled wine. The restaurant has plenty of fun and tasty activities lined up from 6 - 8 p.m.

For $30 per person, guests can sample five rosé wines from Italy and California chosen by Beverage Director Lara Creasy, whose wine list recently received Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence. The wines will be paired with Big Green Egg cookout fare prepared by Executive Chef and Co-owner Drew Belline and Owner Ford Fry. Bites will include smoked porchetta, pickled shrimp and fresh and local summer vegetables.

After you've had your fill of food and wine, head to the back patio and enjoy live music and ping-pong. Another bonus - just for coming to the tasting and cookout, you'll be entered into a raffle for a free dinner for two at the No. 246 Chef's Counter ($100 value). Don't miss out on celebrating summer's official wine, reserve one of the limited spots by calling 678-399-8246.
