Roll Over, Rover, and Smell the ‘Cue! Smokebelly BBQ Welcomes Pups to the Patio
Have you seen those “wag more, bark less” bumper stickers? Smokebelly BBQ sets tails to wagging more by offering a dog-friendly patio for guests who love their four-legged Bud as much as they love cold suds and hot ‘cue. Imagine how loved those pooches will feel when owners walk or drive them to Smokebelly BBQ in Buckhead. Supersized umbrellas over tables and plush “grass” carpet keep toes and paws cool, preventing hot dog syndrome. Whether you share a bite or two of Smokebelly’s succulent smoked meats and fixins with your pup, well, that’s up to you. Either way, he’ll still love you.

#Foodgram: Popeye the Foodie
Popeye the Foodie, a.k.a. Popeye The Foodie Dog, is a rescue mutt in the Los Angeles area that is doubly blessed to dine out at restaurants with his owners. He’s one lucky dog and lapping it all up. Or at least we think he does that after he poses for these adorable pictures.

Kevin Gillespie Brings Home the Bacon in Cincinnati
In cupcakes or alongside eggs, bacon is so hot right now. No one knows this better than Kevin Gillespie, executive chef and co-owner of Atlanta’s Woodfire Grill, whose passion for pork was clear on Bravo’s “Top Chef.” Now the pork enthusiast will celebrate his love with humans and dogs alike as the host of the Purina Beggin’ Bacon Bash in Cincinnati on International Bacon Day, Saturday, September 4. Cincinnati locals are in for a bacon-flavored treat complete with live music, a bacon-eating contest, and cooking demonstrations by Kevin Gillespie himself. Their furry friends can run hog wild in bacon mazes, costume contests, and can even participate in the “loudest group bark” attempt for the Guinness Book of World Records. What better way to wake up and smell the bacon?Monday, January 12, 2009
Dogs Can Be Foodies, Too

My puppy, Brett, loves food. She is especially gifted at picking out the good stuff. When I add yogurt to her breakfast, it is always the first thing to disappear from the bowl. She likes when it's organic just as much as I do. When I came across this blog post at Bay Area Foodie about frozen yogurt for dogs, I immediately found the closest retail shop with the stuff in stock.
Yƶghund uses all ingredients that are certified organic by the US Department of Agriculture and all boxes are made from 100% recycled materials (just incase the dog eats the carton). That is something to wag your tail about little Brett. According to the website, the closest location to our office in Buckhead is The Pet Set on Briarcliff.
PS - This was my way of showing everyone the picture I took of Brett in front of my Christmas tree.
