Outdoor Concerts Rock, Roll and Reggae Cumberland and Perimeter Malls, Thursday Nights through Oct. 26

Music filled Midtown earlier this month. Now the tunes are traveling to Atlanta’s top shopping destinations – Cumberland Mall and Perimeter Mall. Discover the sultry rhythms of jazz, the hip-shaking sounds of classic rock and the familiar and energetic beats of pop music at the free weekly music series at each mall on Thursday nights from 5-7 p.m. featuring the best of Atlanta’s local musicians (and Austin Adams, now a Nashville-ian). The Perimeter Live Music Series plugs into the streetscape in front of The Cowfish; the Cumberland Live Music Series will drum up toe-tapping crowds near the fountain. Red Beard Restaurants Stages TomorrowWorld‘s First Tomorrow’s Table Dining Experience September 25-27

TomorrowWorld, America’s largest 21+ music festival, is coming to Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia over the weekend of September 25-27, and this year the victuals will be stars along with the music. TomorrowWorld is partnering with Red Beard Restaurants, created and owned by celebrated chef, author and “Top Chef” finalist Kevin Gillespie, to serve an assortment of exclusive dining experiences at Tomorrow’s Table. The festival’s first sit-down restaurant experience offers Main Stage views for seated diners and takeaway picnic baskets for those wanting to beat it back to their own spots. Each day’s meals sing to the beat of one of Gillespie’s culinary creations -- Terminus City whole hog, chicken or smoked mushroom barbecue on Friday; global fare from Gunshow on Saturday; and Southern traditions and trimmings from Revival on Sunday.

Jazz up your Saturday with Ray's on the River

Don’t miss the end of the Ray’s on the River summer jazz series before it heads downstream. The last lawn concert benefiting the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CR) will be on Saturday, July 21. Renowned trumpeter Joey Sommerville will be entertaining guests from 2-4 p.m., and American Spirit Whiskey will be providing the cocktails. Purchase tickets for $35 each on Eventbrite. Ray’s on the River applauds UCR’s work to keep the waterway clean. Mike Ross, director of operations for Ray’s Restaurants, shares that “the Chattahoochee was recently ranked third on the American Rivers' Most Endangered Rivers list, and we want to encourage everyone to help keep our waters clean." Tomorrow is a good day to forgo your brown bag lunch and pick up one of Pacci Ristorante’s boxed lunches at the Midtown Alliance Lunch Box Concert at Arts District Plaza (Peachtree and 15th Streets). The concert goes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and guests are encouraged to arrive early to snatch up these Italian boxed goodies. The Midtown Alliance is giving a free drink to each guest who purchases a lunch. Only cash is accepted for payment. Pacci's lunch box options include:
• Smoked turkey and portabella panini with truffle salt potato chips and a chocolate chip cookie ($6)
• Prosciutto and Sweet Grass Dairy goat cheese flatbread served with a salad of mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, shaved carrots and grilled corn and a brownie ($7)
