Arianne
Fielder has that knack. Last year, Fielder placed second, and this year the Article 14 mixtress won top honors in the Manhattan Experience bartender regional
exhibition sponsored by Woodford Reserve craft bourbon and Esquire
magazine. Her winning cocktail, the "Kentucky Sundress" had strawberry- and rosemary-infused vermouth blanc, orange bitters, elderflower liqueur, a green chartreuse rinse and a strawberry rose garnish. This all-star libation achieved Fielder's goal of creating a variation of the Manhattan that caters to the female palate. She heads off to NYC in January 2014 to
compete in the national finale! Go Arianne!

Purity Vodka Vamps Up Article 14 for Tasting on November 7

From her home in Ellinge Castle in the south of Sweden, there's one vixen that loves to give Americans a thrill, and Article 14 hosts her on Thursday, November 7 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Her name, you ask? Ultra-premium Purity Vodka, of course. The crystal-clear spirit undergoes 34 distillations and gives up 90 percent of its original liquid. Overseen by master blender Thomas Kuuttanen, Purity Vodka mingles with the tantalizing flavors stocked behind Arianne Fielder's bar. The mixtress will create two specialty cocktails, paired with heavy appetizers for guests to enjoy in between sips. For fans of the vodka, bring a bottle or two for Kuuttanen to sign. Perfect for an early holiday gift or "just because" occasion. Although the event is free, space will be limited, so vodka connoisseurs should call 404-443-8432 to reserve a spot. Remember, only guests 21 and up are invited to meet the star of the show -- the rest will have to hear about her through the grapevine.

Seven Lamps' Kevin Bragg and Article 14's Arianne Fielder Interact with Cocktails at Sixth Annual AiMA Awards on October 23
AiMA stands for Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association. Established in 2008, the AiMA award program is dedicated exclusively to interactive marketing in the ATL (i.e. video, website, search, social media and mobile campaigns). Fittingly, "Made in the ATL" is this year's theme. Seven Lamps beverage manager Kevin Bragg maintains the local, interactive bent by mixing up generous amounts of his Mexican Prescription cocktail of tequila, Dancing Goats coffee, lime and vanilla at the sixth annual AiMA Awards on October 23. Bragg and Arianne Fielder of Article 14 are two of several Atlanta mixologists and chefs who will delight guests at the Buckhead Theatre during the 6-11 p.m. event.

mixing it up behind the bar, Arianne tweets about cocktails and her thoughts on
