How do they do that? Brand an “R” monogram to the foamy head of the American Spirit Works/Terminus City Sour at Revival? Leave it to chef Kevin Gillespie to pull this trick out of his toque for guests at his Decatur restaurant. Underneath the “R” pools a potent mix of rye whiskey and apple brandy, both from Atlanta’s own American Spirit Works Distillery, along with smoked spices, blackstrap molasses, lemon and bitters. Are spirits topped by tattoos next?
