RE: Purpose, a Lifecycle Celebration Calls to the Keen and Green Out There on August 20

Humidity haters, get excited! Summer is coming to a close and this calls for a celebration. RE: Purpose, a Lifecycle Celebration on August 20 from 6-9 p.m. at Opera Midtown is the perfect place to sway to live music by LBC, indulge in local eats and dish out some dollars at the silent auction featuring unique reclaimed pieces by Lifecycle Building Center. When all that grooving on the dance floor leaves you famished, truffle chicken salad, egg salad and fried chicken and chow chow sliders by Bantam + Biddy will fill that hollow spot in your stomach. Angelically good deviled eggs and refreshing cucumber sandwiches contributed by executive chef E.J. Hodgkinson of JCT. Kitchen & Bar will also be offered. Lifecycle Building Center, a nonprofit organization located in Atlanta, transforms building materials from landfills to functional furniture provided to schools and nonprofits for free and to the general public for a small fee. Purchase your tickets online for $30 each.
