The Blind Pig Parlour Bar Comes of Age, Celebrates First Birthday with Speakeasy Drink Specials and Live Music January 23

Totally legit for this 1-year-old to celebrate in a bar, because it is the bar. The Blind Pig Parlour Bar, Atlanta’s swankiest Prohibition-inspired hideaway, is throwing a humdinger of a one-year anniversary party on Saturday, January 23. Complimentary bites and batched cocktails feed the party from 7-8 p.m., and drink specials prevail throughout the evening. Flappers and rappers, live music revs up at 7:30 p.m. and keeps on keeping on until the DJ takes over at 11 p.m. Seating is first-come, first-served after 9:30 p.m.

This Bird’s a Year Old! Celebrate with Bantam + Biddy Avalon through October 23

A year has flown by since Bantam + Biddy first served its fried chicken, cheddar waffles and Southern comfort foods to those hankering for breakfast, lunch or dinner while strolling the streets of Avalon in Alpharetta. The egg-static staff can’t wait until the actual October 30 anniversary date, and they’re already letting specials soar out from under their wings. On Tuesday, October 20, flip a coin after your meal to see if you’ll receive 50 percent off your food tab (excludes alcohol). A free order of pimento cheese nests with your entrée purchase on Wednesday, October 21. From open until close on Thursday, October 22, kids 12 and under can enjoy one free Little Clucker’s meal when their accompanying adult buys an entrée (one freebie per entrée). The restaurant will feature $8 steak and baked potato plates from 5 p.m. until close on Vegas steak night, Friday, October 23 (while supplies last). King + Duke Crowns Year One with Royal Patio Party on May 18

Chillin’ and grillin’ are how folks spend Sunday afternoons on the patio at King + Duke in Buckhead. This Sunday, May 18 proves worthy of more fanfare as the restaurant marks its first anniversary. Drop in from 3-7 p.m. for Three Taverns Craft Brewery beers and live music from Matt Palmer! Bantam + Biddy Celebrates First Anniversary with Fall Festival on October 13

We love farm-to-table restaurants, but we just found the next big thing: farm-to-festival! Help Bantam + Biddy celebrate its first anniversary with their fall festival on Sunday, October 13 in the Ansley Mall courtyard. Live music from Lily and the Tigers will be the soundtrack to a full afternoon of family fun. A bevy of local vendors such as  Nottingham Nector, Souvei, Riverview Farms, Tiny Buffalo, Deck Specks, Doux South, Capra Gia and Georgia Organics will be in attendance as well. The celebration begins at 11 a.m. and continues until 3 p.m., but the good times don't end there.
