See what kind of farm-fresh inspiration Ormsby’s
chef Scotley Innis has up his sleeves at the Westside
Provisions District Farmers Market this Sunday, July 5. The market
sets up a stone’s throw from Ormsby’s cool environs (and cold brews) near
Howell Mill and 14th Street. After picking up tips from Innis and picking out
locally grown produce, dairy, eggs, artisan breads, baked goods and other
delicacies at the 10 a.m.-2 p.m. market, skip over to Ormsby’s where there’s a
cold beer for you and air conditioning to keep your produce perky. Market

Lance Gummere and Shaun Doty's new restaurant, Chick-a-Biddy, left guests with much to cluck about. The grand opening in Atlantic Station was upbeat, delicious and featured farm-fresh menu items from executive chef Scott Weaver. Wood-grilled piri piri chicken, plantain chips with roasted tomato dip and the black bean quinoa burger were just a few of the innovative plates that were served with comforting sides and refreshing juices. The sign outside the door says it all - spread those wings and fly on over!
Get ready, poultry peoples, because it’s almost time to fly
over to Atlantic Station for the grand opening Chick-a-Biddy. The spot that was formerly The Grape will be serving farm-fresh dishes
that will have guests clucking. Owners Shaun Doty and Lance Gummere have
revamped the space and are introducing a menu that will satisfy all food lovers,
including vegetarians and gluten-free guests. Crafty cocktails, juices and
smoothies will have the whole flock feeling refreshed!
