#foodgram: @MLA_Moments

“If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the pitchin’” we proudly proclaim on our own good eatin’ gallery @MLA_Moments. We like hot kitchens and cool bars. Atlanta, keep on cooking and we’ll keep on lens-snapping.

#Foodgram of the Week: @ThePublicistATL

Restaurant opening alert on Instagram @thepublicistatl. With more than 20 years of experience in opening and promoting successful restaurants, the team behind Melissa Libby & Associates is unleashing the culinary skills they’ve gathered with their very own concept. The menu features true late-night creations, as the team peels, pours and plates into the wee hours of the morning. Don’t worry, they aren’t quitting their day jobs. Okay, okay…we can’t keep the April Fool’s joke going forever, but the MLA team will be sure to post photo-worthy homemade meals regularly!

MLA Opens The Publicist Restaurant on Atlanta’s Westside

After more than 20 years of publicizing Atlanta’s best restaurants, Melissa Libby & Associates is donning another toque and opening The Publicist Restaurant in the Lumberyard Lofts on Atlanta’s Westside. Not that the team is putting their public relations skills on the back burner; they’re finally sharing a culmination of culinary skills gleaned over years in the industry. Specializing in post-5 p.m. and late night munch outs, The Publicist will offer a 10-course tasting menu featuring items such as The Melissa, an energizing Red Bull and Power Bar combo. Order The Rafer and woof down leftovers as your main course. MLA awarded Bowen Betts Design their first restaurant design project. On the beverage menu, look for a big bowl of cold water for visiting hounds and a punch line for humans . . . April Fools!

Pucker up for pickles on the MLA Pinterest page! Check out our Perfectly Pickled board for great ideas for making pickles. It's easy! (I'm partial to pickled okra if you need a taste tester.)

MLA Out and About at 2013 Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival

MLA's Tuan Huynh gets ready to crown the winners!
In the middle of one of the rainiest summers we've ever seen, the clouds parted and the sun beamed bright for the July 21 Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival at JCT. Kitchen & Bar. We had a blast basking in the sun and tasting delicious tomato dishes and cocktails while grooving to the tunes of The Spazmatics and Five Bone Rack. Luckily, our camera didn't get splashed by the action in the dunk tank, so we have plenty of pics to prove how great the day was. Check out our Facebook photos for a taste of #AKTF2013!
