What’s New on Pinterest: Peanut Butter Lovers

Peanut Butter Lovers rejoice, it’s National Peanut Month and we’re spreading the love for this nutty legume. Jam as many PBJs into March as you can, giving thanks it’s one of those 31-day months. Arise to healthy vegan PB granola, a PB banana breakfast smoothie or an eye-opening espresso smoothie. Prep a stash of four-ingredient PB protein bars, three-ingredient no-bake PB oatmeal bars or PB muffins for afternoon snacking. Thai PB chicken punched with salsa, garlic, ginger and lime rivals restaurant fare, earning bonus points for dual oven or Crock-Pot creation. The crème de la crème could be chocolate PB pie jars or three-ingredient flourless PB mug cakes, noting that for good or bad, mini-Mason jars and mugs can enforce portion control.

Okay, put down the spoon. We know you’ve been dipping into the peanut butter (a.k.a. PB) jar but save some of the smooth and crunchy spread for Peanutty Perfection recipes during National Peanut Butter Lovers Month. Add PB cheesecake cookie bars, Nutter Butter PB cake, secretly skinny PB biscotti and white chocolate PB fudge to the Thanksgiving dessert sideboard. The kids will love PB puppy truffles, and Fido will go bonkers over PB and pumpkin balls. Rise and shine to PB&J French toast sticks, PB waffles with PB syrup and PB&J doughnuts. Plant peanuts in every meal and prepare a big bowl of raw super sprouts pad thai with spicy peanut sauce for lunch or dinner.

What’s New on Pinterest

Peanut Butter Lovers know there are few things more comforting to a PB purist than having a jar of PB in one hand and a spoon in the other. If it happens to be a really big jar, spread the wealth around in these recipes. Easy PB protein bars require only four ingredients, and there are only three ingredients in flourless PB mug cake. Still some in the jar? Blend a PB espresso smoothie for an afternoon pick-me-up. Or, give everyone a spoon and their own chocolate PB pie jar. Lots more recipes, but we’ve scraped our jar clean.
