#Foodgram: Feed the Swimmers

When Jill Fergus’ kids began swimming competitively, she realized how nutrition, performance, growth, overall health and emotional well-being must be in sync. The recipe developer/food stylist-photographer and editor dove into feeding that passion with a blog feedtheswimmers.com and Instagram album Feed the Swimmers.

#Foodgram: The Art of Plating

There’s a place for messy food like sloppy Joes, saucy wings and Frito pie. Then there’s The Art of Plating, where presentation woos eyes and appetites. We have a feeling these masterpieces, destined for dining, will never make it to the Louvre.

#Foodgram: Pinch of Yum

Pinch of Yum Instagrammer Lindsay Ostrom doles out way more than a pinch of yummy comfort foods, including plenty of hearty eats for vegetarians. She’s recipe surfed and found winners such as Skinnytaste’s Crock-Pot beef ragu with pappardelle. No one will miss the meat in hearty vegetarian shepherd’s pie. Lunch preppers can fix a week’s worth of spicy chicken and rice. She’s okay with showing a sweet side, as well, swearing her “modern scotcheroos” made with five ingredients and minimal refined sugars are the first to go off the holiday dessert tray. Pinch us so we’ll know this album’s not just a delicious dream.

#Foodgram: Breakfast Criminals

Breakfast Criminals follows a mantra well worth chewing, “…how you start your day is how you live your life.” So why open the day by opening a cardboard box when you can fix raspberry lemon nice cream, a gut-friendly açaì-cashew kefir bowl or a beety magenta-hued, hormone-pleasing schmear of almond cheese on toast. And remember to breathe and set a daily intention…before caffeine-ing for the day. Peace, bro.

#Foodgram

By Jove, those British GPB dramas and documentaries based in England have us scanning the isle’s idyllic countryside for traditional tea-worthy nibbles like rosewater and cardamom biscuits and globally inspired dishes of today’s Great Britain, Persian lamb and fregola, for example. Our fingers landed on LindsaysFeast, an album royally loaded with food stories and photos from a cook and writer living the English country life. Cheerio!

#Foodgram: Everything Bagels

Round and round she goes on Everything Bagels, which goes round and round the mind boggling question of “What can you do with a bagel?” This album has all the answers in full-of-color photos. Blue (not blueberry) bagels for Hanukkah, the red and green of a NYC Christmas bagel, heavenly bacon on a bagel and bagels oozing truffle grilled cheese are just the start…and as you know, bagels are circles so they just keep going.
