Hey Ladies, Lets Party at Fadó Like It’s the ‘80s

On Saturday, February 25, Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant in Buckhead will be hosting their monthly Ladies ‘80s night. The party will get “totally rad” at 10 p.m. with a DJ pulling an all-nighter packed with ‘80s tunes. All of you Dancing Queens out there get ready to disco the night away during the Atlanta Dance Marathon from 7 - 10 p.m. The Shepherd Center Foundation benefits from your participation in this month's fun-raiser. Of course, every ’80s lady knows a party isn’t complete without an array of drinks. Tasty drink options include the Long Island Iced Tea, Mai Tai and Blue Hawaiian only $6 each for the kitsch and cocktail. Ladies looking for a more wintry mix can order off the winter drink menu that features whiskey favorites, winter warmers and seasonal ales at $5.50-$10.50 each. Ladies, it’s time to let loose and party like it’s the ‘80s. 

Get Your Groove on at Fadó's "Ladies '80s" Party for Team in Training on August 27th

Get decked out in your best '80s attire and head over to Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant on Saturday, August 27 for this month's "Ladies '80s" party. Not only do you get an excuse to throw on a rockin’ '80s ensemble, but you’ll also be benefitting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training triathlon team by attending. This totally '80s fundraising party starts at 7 p.m. with tunes from the likes of Madonna and Michael Jackson blasting all night and classic '80s cocktails like Long Island Iced Tea, Mai Tai and Blue Hawaiian priced at just $5 for the ladies. The $20 entry fee will score you two draft beer tickets and a happy hour buffet. Take a break from doing your ‘80s thang on the dance floor to partake in the 50/50 cash raffle and a silent auction. If you’re ready to get ‘Footloose’ and dance like you’re the star of Flashdance, than put on your best acid wash jeans, tease your hair and join the “Ladies '80’s” party at Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant on Saturday, July 30. This particular theme night steps out at 7 p.m. as a Totally 80s fundraising party for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Atlanta Chapter of Team in Training. Top 80s tunes and classic 80s cocktails will flow -- think Long Island Iced Tea, Mai Tai and Blue Hawaiian at $5 each for the ladies. Pull on some 80s garb and count on Fadó to hand out some 80s accessory party favors to complete the look. Costume contest with a $100 prize, raffle (donations requested for participation) and a silent auction will all go toward drumming up funds for the Atlanta members of Team in Training. Ultimately, the monies go toward finding a cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma. Fadó keeps the party going with a DJ starting at 10:30 p.m. And don’t forget, if you round of five or so of your friends and get to the pub before 10:30 p.m., each of you receive $10 in Fadó bucks good for Saturday night!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Gather up your girls for an amazing night out at Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant! That’s right ladies, Ladies 80’s Night at Fadó is back on Saturday, June 25. Pull out those leg warmers, slap bracelets and jelly shoes and dance the night away (well at least from 10 p.m. to close)! While the DJ’s spinning 80’s tunes all night, enjoy a classic 80’s cocktail like Long Island Iced Tea, Mai Tai or Blue Hawaiian. Fadó is also offering new beer-based cocktails and Guinness Mixers on their summer menu. Why not try a Black and Gold made with Guinness and Stella Artois? Or how about my new favorite, the fruity Sweet Hoe cocktail made with Smirnoff Raspberry Vodka, sour mix, strawberry purée and Hoegaarden over ice? Totally wicked.

Get down to the sounds of a live DJ (not an '80s cassette player). '80s babies, visit an '80s blog for memory-jogging ideas for fashion and hair. Ladies 80s. 'Nuf said!

Everything 80s is excellent - the music, the fashion, the cocktails - and happily Fadó Irish Pub & Restaurant is helping us get our 80s on with Ladies 80s night this Saturday! Starting at 10 p.m. the DJ will be spinning 80s favorites (there are so many I can't choose just one to mention here...) and tossing out awesome 80s paraphernalia like slap bracelets, glow necklaces and candy necklaces. Prizes for the best outfits will handed out so don't be shy about breaking out that crimping iron you've been holding onto for all these years. $6 cocktails resurrected from the 80s -- Blue Hawaiians, Long Island Iced Teas and Mai Tais -- are on special all night.
