Say Hello to Orpheus Brewing at The Ponce de Leon Beer Festival this Saturday

Orpheus Brewing is one of more than 30 craft breweries pouring their own unique styles of beer at The Ponce de Leon Beer Festival inside the Yaarab Shrine on Saturday, November 15 from noon-6 p.m. The festival is a stone's throw from Orpheus, which brews its saisons, sours, ales, IPAs and other beer varieties in Midtown near the Atlanta BeltLine and Piedmont Park. By the way, Orpheus Brewing's Atalanta and Lyric ale are now available in cans in area stores. Festival goers can sample multiple beers, rock out to eight bands on two stages, nab vendor freebies and buy chow from food trucks. General admission begins at 1 p.m. VIP ticket holders add a noon entrance privilege plus access to a separate area for sampling special "one-off" (single release) beers. Ticket sales cut off at 1,500 guests to keep the experience more intimate than "brew-tally" crowded. The event is a fundraiser for Shriners Hospitals for Children, which provides children with care for orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate, regardless of a family's ability to pay.
