The Big Ketch Canton Street Turns One, Celebrates with a Splash October 16
The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill on Canton Street in Roswell is passing the one-year buoy marker and celebrating its first anniversary with waves of fun, food and drink specials on Sunday, October 16 from 2-8 p.m. A special $1 menu features oysters and other tasty bites to munch on while enjoying live music and lawn games. E-I-E-I-O, Off to Milton’s Farmyard Chowdown We Go on August 7
Old MacDonald had a farm, but nowhere does the song mention Farmyard Chowdowns like the outdoor dining fests at Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails in historic Crabapple. Chowhounds of all ages will sing praises for Milton’s low country seafood boil, fried chicken, oysters, live music and lawn games at the 7 p.m. family friendly party on Sunday, August 7. Buy tickets online for $40 per person (plus tax and small service fee), including meal, music and lawn games. Alcohol not included. The two remaining 2016 Farmyard Chowdowns squeal in at 6 p.m. on September 11 (“Patriotic Edition”) and October 2.

Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails Throws a Farmyard Chowdown on June 7

Oysters, fried chicken, Low Country boil, garden-fresh veggies and all the accoutrements befitting a Farmyard Chowdown are in store for dinner guests at Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails on Sunday, June 7 from 5-8 p.m. The “farm” is a lot closer to town than you’d think. Executive chef Derek Dollar gleans his goodies right off Milton’s Acre in the backyard of the historic Crabapple restaurant. Live music and lawn games entertain farm hands of all ages. There’ll be no “cussin’,” but finger licking is allowed! $35 per person (excluding tax, gratuity and alcoholic beverages); buy tickets online. Those beach bound and out of town on June 7 can look ahead to upcoming Farmyard Chowdowns on August 16 and September 13. More info: 770-817-0161.
