Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails Coins Dishes for March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction November 12

Count Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails in the fundraising equation for worthy causes like the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction at the Omni Jacksonville Hotel on Thursday, November 12. Chef Tom Gray toques up with other Jacksonville, Florida chefs for the 6 p.m. event, creating the signature dishes and desserts that will prime guests for the night’s live auction. Tickets start at $250 each. Donations for the March of Dimes mission are gratefully accepted to fund the research, education, advocacy and programs that help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.

Atlanta is playing host to an epic burger throw down that benefits the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation  and Atlanta Legal Aid Society . The First Annual Burger Battle and Beer Tasting has recruited Atlanta’s very own Kevin Gillespie to compete for the title of best burger on Thursday, June 6. We’re rooting for you, Kevin! 

Atlanta Restaurateurs and Culinary Experts to Host Roundup For Ryan

Roundup for Ryan is an example of  Southern hospitality at its best! Culinary experts and owners of some of Atlanta's best restaurants are coming together to host this event to raise money for Ryan Hidinger who has just been diagnosed with stage 4 gallbladder cancer. 

Prior to receiving his diagnosis, Ryan and his wife, Jen, were on their way to accomplishing their dream of opening up Staplehouse restaurant. Costly medical bills have forced them to postpone this aspiration, but they're not giving up. You can get Ryan and Jen's full story by going to their website.

The fundraiser will be held on January 27 and will feature Atlanta's own Yacht Rock Revue. Over 30 Atlanta-area restaurants will be participating in the event including No. 246 and The Optimist.
