‘Tis the spring festival season and none is more colorful
than the 80th annual Atlanta Dogwood
Festival sprawling throughout Piedmont Park Friday, April 8-Sunday,
April 10. Smart weekend fest-goers will plan ahead and buy tickets to
the Backyard
Barbecue & Brews VIP Experience going on Saturday, April 9, and
Sunday, April 10 from 1-5 p.m. Ticketholders can hang out in the cordoned
“Backyard” area commanding excellent Main Stage views and a spacious tent with
lots of picnic-style seating. “Backyard” perks frame an afternoon of beer and
wine tastings as well as barbecue and picnic fare from Atlanta’s favorite
restaurants – including mouthwatering ‘cue from Smokebelly BBQ in Buckhead. More good
stuff: activities such as cornhole and always appreciated convenient, private
bathrooms. Additionally, Platinum VIP Experience ticketholders will receive
four drink tickets for beer, wine or cocktails. Saturday VIP tickets are
already sold out, and the others are sure to follow suit for the popular party
