Der Biergarten Shares Spirit of Oktoberfest at KSU Owl-O-Ween October 23-24

Owl-O-Ween tricks out Kennesaw State University Sports and Entertainment Park with Halloween antics, Oktoberfest, four stages of live music, hot air balloons and lots more fall fun for the entire family this Friday and Saturday, October 23 and 24. Event sponsor Der Biergarten rolls out authentic German Oktoberfest-ivities including the official Tapping of the Keg on Friday at 6 p.m., Bavarian eats and polka hits. And that’s just one pumpkin in the field pumped with four stages of live entertainment, a costume showdown and pole vault, extreme pumpkin carving, both an interactive Kids Zone and an over-18 Owl’s Nest, brews, food and marketplaces. After dark, whooo and aaah when 20 huge hot air balloons glow with choreographed shows and dole out goodies to trick-or-treating youngsters. Bag tickets and details online.
