Lineage aside, this Ferragamo is all about the wines of Tuscany's Il Borro Winery and creating the newest private-label wine -- Forty-Six Diamonds Toscana 2009 -- for Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. Il Borro premium wines have graced Fleming's reserve wine list for many years. This year's limited-edition private-label wine represents a delicious collaboration between Ferragamo, Il Borro Winemaker Nicolò D'Afflitto and Fleming's Wine Director Maeve Pesquera. The Sangiovese for the blend comes from Politi Vineyard, which provides the ideal elevation, Pliocene lake soil and southwestern exposure to turn out Tuscany's famed grape. Taste the artistry and note the artwork of internationally renowned artist and wine aficionado Thomas Arvid on the wine labels and on Fleming's walls.
